Potatohead Folk
Potatohead Folk

Singapore, 2014

Potatohead Folk was a collaborative design between Takenouchi Webb, Australian artist David Bromley and the in-house Potatohead Team. The 1930s shophouse located in a corner building has a distinctive triangular form in which we planned the restaurant and bar over four floors. In order to maintain the essence of the building's previous life as a coffee-shop, we located the open kitchen on the ground floor with counter seating in the five-foot way. The built-in elements on the upper floors were overlaid with David Bromley artwork and murals painted on the walls and floors. Each floor has a distinct character with the 'Three Buns' dining on level 2, the '1939' bar on level 3 and an open rooftop garden bar.
