The Shack

Temporary Bar, Sentosa, Singapore.

We were asked to provide a temporary bar to be operated on the beach during the seven month construction of The Tanjong Beach Club.

With a minimal budget we took an old shipping container and clad the facade with reclaimed timber salvaged from site.

A structure was added to provide some rain protection, bamboo fixed to the ceiling and rope wrapped around the steel to provide a “shack” feel.
